5 Ways To Drink Water

The simple task of drinking water is rather tedious, but have you ever thought about using a little imagination to increase your daily water consumption? 

Is there really a way to make drinking water more fun? It’s important to get enough water in your system every day, so try finding interesting ways to consume more water by getting your family, friends and even your colleagues involved.

1. First Thing In The Morning

When you wake up in the morning, down a glass of water; the coffee, tea, milk can follow a little later. Not only will this make you feel good about sticking to your resolution, it will also kick-start your metabolism.

2. Be Friends With The Water Bottle

Make your water bottle a constant companion and take small sips while you’re at work or home. Buy yourself a fancy, colourful water bottle or use a fancy glass.

3. Add Flavour

Make your water healthier by adding flavour of your choice. Squeeze half a lemon, crush some berries, add a few mint leaves or drop in some fruit slices.

4. Have Fun While Doing It

Things are always more fun when you do them in a group so get your friends or colleagues involved. Make a bet on who will drink more water or you can compete with yourself and increase the quantity every day. Make sure that your breaks at work always include an intake of water.

5. Set A Reminder

If forgetting is a habit of yours, use your phone to set a reminder or ask family members, friends or your colleagues to remind you to drink water.

You don’t want to become dehydrated, so remember to take a few sips of water whenever you get a chance.
