Cupcakes giving hope - Party for hope

International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day is coming up on 15 February and the non- profit organisation Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer created an informative and helpful infographic which will help concerned parents to identify warning symptoms and the best course of action if they suspect that their children might have cancer. Early detection saves lives.

Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer raises awareness about the early warning signs for childhood cancer and helps to raise funds for children with cancer. Through their ‘Cupcakes of Hope’ events, volunteers, sponsors and bakers share their love for baking for a great cause. This is by far the sweetest way to help. The funds raised go towards paying for their medical treatments, travelling costs, school fees, birthday celebrations and day-to-day expenses. They also do hospital visits and spoil the patients and staff with lovely cupcakes.

Cupcakes of HOPE donates to 13 different charities like CHOC, Cansa TLC, The Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital Trust and The Sunflower Fund. To find a full list of beneficiaries visit www.cupcakesofhope.org

Spread the cupcake love this February by getting your school or company involved. Become a Cupcake Angel by hosting your own ‘Party of HOPE’. This will be a fun way to create awareness and to help raise funds for children with cancer. Interested schools and businesses can register or get more information from Rochelle at info@cupcakesofhope.org.

Make this Valentine’s Month an extra special one, do your part to help ease the life of a child living with cancer. Visit our website www.cupcakesofhope.org and see how you can make a difference.
