Pregnancy Calendar - Week 28

Your Baby:
Baby's eyes are now partially open and he or she can blink. The irises also have colour now, but it may not be the ultimate colour of your baby's eyes, which can still change up until 9 months of age. Your baby has also started dreaming, with REM starting around this time. Baby is about 38cm long and weighs between 900 grams and 1.3kgs.

You have entered the third trimester this week! You may start experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions, which is your womb ‘practicing' for real labour. It feels like a pulling, tightening or hardening of your stomach. These types of practice contractions are not usually painful.
