Pregnancy Calendar - Week 35

Your Baby:
Baby is still mostly gaining the weight she needs at birth. Another development is that her liver has started processing waste products. The amniotic fluid is steadily decreasing to make space for your growing baby, and your whole womb is occupied by your baby. Baby is now over 46cm long and weighs approximately 2.5 kgs.

Your baby has now taken over most of your torso, pushing organs aside to make room for her growth. Your uterus, which was once the size of your fist and tucked away beneath your pelvis is now the size of a small watermelon and reaches up underneath your ribs. Almost 1/6 of your total blood volume is concentrated in the blood vessels around your uterus. This week you'll start to visit your healthcare professional weekly.
